Mika’s World

Mika’s World, cover image

Mika’s World is an app for children aged 1 to 5, published in the US, Europe and Japan.

It invites kids to explore five environments (mountain, desert, sea, ski and space) and discover visual and audio surprises along the way. We came up with the concept, illustrated it and built it ourselves in ActionScript and Flash for iOS.

Designing for toddlers means no reading and no wrong answers: every tap does something, sounds reward curiosity and the screens stay uncluttered.
